Blooming Felt Ltd started life in 2007 after its Founder (that’s me ... Sarah Tremelling), struggled to find certain items needed to complete a craft project. Since then, Blooming Felt has grown to become one of the UK's market leaders, if not the, UK’s market leader of 100% wool felt craft supplies and is the original home of the “pick & mix” felt ball!

From felt sheets to felt purses, felt balls to felt string, we source and supply the best quality 100% wool felt from Fairtrade suppliers around the world. Our suppliers employ many underprivileged people and ensure they are paid fair salaries, along with providing both childcare and healthcare benefits, They also donate a percentage of their profits to local charities. By purchasing from us, you are helping to make a difference to these people.

We design and have our own suppliers make our felt products for us – many others are poor imitations, the majority being copied from our own designs. Please don’t be fooled by cheaper prices .... cheaper prices invariably means poorer quality. Paying just that little bit extra for Fairtrade supplies really does make a difference.

Alongside our felt supplies, we have a huge selection of buttons, ribbons, craft books & kits, flat pad findings, glues, threads and numerous other crafty items that we have sourced, used ourselves and know that other crafters will not necessarily need, but just HAVE to have !We also specialise in needle felting supplies and stock over 40 different colours of wool roving, along with felting needles, sponges, tools and kits.

We’re constantly on the look-out for new product lines and are happy to search for and supply “hard to find” items requested by clients.

Whilst we sell mainly online (which does, of course, mean you can shop 24/7, 365 days a year !) Blooming Felt Ltd can be found in October every year at the Knitting & Stitching Show held at Alexandra Palace, London.

Our extensive client list includes Stately Homes, Royal Palaces, TV & Theatre Production Companies, Craft & Gift Shops, Hairdressers, Fashion Designers, Upholsterers, Magicians, Schools and Universities. We have even been known to supply to Royalty !!

Our large returning customer base is testament to the fact that we provide excellent quality products and the many lovely emails and comments we receive from both new and existing customers prove that our products and customer service are pretty good !

Blooming Felt are regularly featured in UK craft magazines and in 2011, supplied felt to Paris Fashion Week.
